Howdy Michelle!
I love it when a fellow Texan stops by planDisney with a question for us!
I completely understand your need to make plans based on theme park hours. Like you, I want to optimize every minute of my time at Walt Disney World Resort, especially because there's always so much magic to experience!
Michelle, typically, you'll find park hours to be added to the
Operating Hours Calendar 60 days out. Currently, the new hours being added are for the month of September, which means October's hours will be released on a rolling basis after.
Pro tip: Something I do while planning my own vacation is to keep in mind that if I'm coming during months when special events like
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are in full swing, I check those
event dates, as it helps me decide if I should visit
Magic Kingdom Park since it's set to close earlier for the special ticketed event.
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can begin making
dining reservations for the entire length of their stay (for up to a 10-night visit) up to 60 days in advance, and all other Guests can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, one day at a time. While making my dining reservations, I first search for the most popular dining experiences. For instance, if a fun character experience is something my family loves, booking that may be my first priority. And if you were wondering, breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is my absolute favorite!
I keep an eye on the days leading up to my arrival date, as it's common for park hours to stay consistent on the days closer to your arrival dates. However, since we know hours are always subject to change, rest assured if you do make your plans earlier and need to change them, you're able to modify your plans through your
My Disney Experience account.
To modify any plans you've made, simply
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Michelle!
