Let's tee it up, Suzanne! Welcome to planDisney where I always keep the golf cart charged and ready to roll. Even though I'm an only child, I have dozens of in-laws who are always up for an adventure. Some of us played a round at
Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf a few months ago! Let's look at some strategies for getting your group to "play through."
Miniature golf is part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection, and while some tours and activities can be booked online, you'll need to call (407) WDW-PLAY to check availability for mini golf. For a party of 17, you will probably be split into three or four smaller groups, but they will do their best to have you tee off close together.
Since your date is fast approaching, I recommend you call as soon as possible. If spots are limited, my tip is to divide your group so some can play on the sister course, Fantasia Fairways. This course is designed for duffers who are more serious about their putt-putt, so adults may enjoy playing here. The courses are close together, so you might catch glimpses of your family on the back nine!
I chatted with a plus-four-wearing Cast Member who said theme park attendance and Disney Resort hotel stays do not impact your ability to reserve a spot for miniature golf. If you're able to book it, your party can meet at the check-in shack near the
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. I see you're a Florida resident, so if you have an annual pass, remember to show your pass and ID for a discount!
My family and I walked over to
Disney's BoardWalk after our round (I won!), where we grabbed sweet treats at
BoardWalk Ice Cream and strolled through the shops. It was a fabulous evening! I hope your family makes some magical memories, too.
I hope you can put your "sticks" to good use on the golf course soon, Suzanne! Please stop by
planDisney anytime. FORE!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
