Bright Suns, Kari!
The local watering hole known as
Oga’s Cantina is very popular with travelers from across the galaxy. Bounty Hunters, smugglers, and locals can all be found here, enjoying one of the many exotic and refreshing beverages.
Due to the cantina’s popularity, reservations can be tough to snag, even for the most cunning of Jedi. The location is usually booked more than 60 days out by those staying in lodging near
Galaxy’s Edge, who have early booking priority. I too was unable to secure a reservation for my July visit.
While there is no waiting list, I do have a few suggestions for you. First, travelers can and do change their plans and cancel reservations. Use your
handheld mobile device to check availability daily and maybe you will get lucky! Travelers with last-minute changes are especially common, so I recommend you check several times a day in the days leading up to your space transport’s arrival to Galaxy’s Edge.
It also never hurts to visit the podium outside the cantina on the day of your visit. It may be possible they are aware of an opening. If you are unable to gain entrance to the cantina, you may enjoy a refreshing blue or green milk from the
Milk Stand across the way, though I prefer the food and beverages at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. The Batuuan Beef Pot Roast is out of this world! While they don’t have as many options as Oga’s Cantina, you will find interesting adult beverages such as a Takodana Quencher and a Surly Sarlacc.
I hope some persistence will pay off and you can secure a reservation, Kari. Good luck, and may the force be with you!
