Hi Graeson! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Currently, there are great ticket offers available that won't be valid for use until a future date in January. Those deals include the
Kids' Special Ticket Offer and the
SoCal Residents Ticket Offer. Because these ticket deals aren't good until dates in January, you won't be able to select a date in December. It might be that you purchased one of these ticket types. If that's so, get ready to start planning for a magical visit in the coming month!
A
standard admission ticket, however, should be good for any available theme park reservation date and park this month. If you purchased a standard admission ticket, I suspect you already have a theme park reservation. One-day tickets sold by Disneyland Resort are priced per day, so you're asked to select a day when making your purchase, which determines the price. Also, you are asked to select a park--Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. If you selected a one-park per-day ticket, the park you chose will be where you spend your day of magic. If you selected a Park Hopper, the park you selected will be where you begin your park day. The date and park you picked became your theme park reservation.
I can walk you through how to check whether you have a theme park reservation. First, sign into the MyDisney account you used to purchase your tickets. Select "Theme Park Reservations" from the "My Disneyland" dropdown menu on the top right side of the page. Scroll down and click the "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button to be taken to a page of your confirmed reservations. You can modify or cancel an existing reservation from this page if your plans have changed. Availability isn't guaranteed and popular days can fill up.
The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are an incredibly popular time to visit, but there will be more fun ahead in 2025. The dates for all the magical fun coming in the new year have just been released. Read all about it on the
Disney Parks Blog.
I hope this helps!
