Hello there and welcome to planDisney, Chelsie. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us. Planning for a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in the works and I'm thrilled to help out.
It sounds like you're thinking about having a visit jam-packed with magic and I'm here for it! Tickets for
Disneyland After Dark events allow you to enter only the park where the event is being held and during the event hours. Now, there is a fun little perk where you can enter the park early (three hours before the party begins). If you'd like to visit the other theme park on the same day, you will have to purchase a separate
theme park ticket.
Do you happen to be a Southern California resident? Depending on which Disneyland After Dark event you're planning to attend, you may be eligible for the
SoCal Resident Ticket Offer. This offer is for a 3-day, 1-Park Per Day ticket and is available to residents within ZIP codes 90000-93599 for visits from January 1st through May 15th. You must present a valid government-issued photo ID with proof of residency for admission. The great news is that you can use this ticket for nonconsecutive visits. Woohoo! Check out all of the
offer details to see if you qualify and check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your visit dates are available.
I'm so excited to hear that you're planning to attend one of these fun evenings. I love trying as many of the themed food items (
mobile order is the best) and finding as many rare characters as I can. It's also a great time to ride attractions with the low wait times due to the limited capacity.
Chelsie, I hope this is helpful as you are planning for your magical adventure. If there's anything else that we can help with, please come back to visit us. Until then, I wish you continued happy planning for your best Disney day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
