I am trying to purchase tickets to Mickeys Christmas Party but I don't see the option despite being a Disney hotel guest. Are certain Disney hotels not included in this? Wondering if it might just be too early as well.

Hi, Cori, and welcome to the planDisney snow globe! Let's see if we can shake up some answers to help you purchase tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.

First, let's walk through the online purchasing process. Once logged in to your My Disney Experience Account on your computer, go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, where you should see a banner with Purchase Tickets. Click that box, and a list of Special Events will populate. Scroll until you see the party listed, and if you're eligible and tickets are available, you can click on the prices listed to be taken to the screen to choose your dates. If you see a message beside the party saying, "Tickets will be available closer to the event," it could be an issue with your resort reservation.

Tickets are currently available to guests registered at any Disney Resort Hotel, so another step to try would be to look at your hotel reservation. Make sure the reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account, and check that your reservation dates fall during the party dates from November 9 to December 22. When I log on, I cannot purchase party tickets because my current resort reservation only goes through the first week of November.

If you find that your hotel reservation is the issue, remember that guests who do not have resort reservations can purchase tickets to this event next week, so you can try again bright and early on July 6. Get that cup of hot cocoa ready, Cori!

But if your Disney Resort Hotel reservation looks to be in order, you're signed into your account, and you're still not seeing the option to purchase, I'd suggest you call the New Tickets line so a jolly Cast Member can help troubleshoot your issue.

Cori, I'm sending pixie dust and twinkling tinsel in hopes that your upcoming visit will include a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Please stop by planDisney anytime, but only shake snow globes, not presents!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
