Welcome to planDisney, Kim! We are glad you brought your question to us.
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble purchasing
tickets. To manage theme park attendance, Walt Disney World Resort has introduced the
Disney Park Pass system. At this time, all Guests ages 3 and up require a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation in addition to valid admission in order to enter a theme park. I have been keeping an eye on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, and I know that some parks have no availability in the coming weeks.
There is not a cancellation list for tickets. However, other Guests' plans change all the time, and it is possible that availability for
Magic Kingdom Park might become available. I understand that you would like to solidify your travel plans and may not want to keep checking for availability. My recommendation would be to purchase tickets with the
Park Hopper Option. This way, you could make Disney Park Pass reservations for whichever theme park has current availability and then "hop" to Magic Kingdom Park after 2:00 pm when park hopping hours begin (subject to theme park capacity). No reservations are necessary when visiting a second (or third or fourth) theme park. You could then still continue to check for availability at Magic Kingdom Park and modify your Disney Park Pass reservation if it becomes available.
Kim, I'll be wishing upon a star that your travel plans work out! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
