Hiya, Joshua!
I completely understand that deciding which
theme park ticket to purchase can be a little overwhelming. Luckily you have come to the right place for advice.
Joshua, you are correct that you first need to decide how many days you wish to visit and when you would like to go. The more days that you purchase at one time, the cheaper your ticket price per day will be, so if possible, you will want to purchase a ticket for the length of your stay, as opposed to purchasing one day at a time.
Once you have decided how many days to visit, you must then decide if you want to add the
Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit more than one theme park per day of your ticket. So you can start your day with
Woody and the Round-Up Gang in Disney's Hollywood Studios before hopping over to the Magic Kingdom to experience some classic Walt Disney World attractions after 2:00 pm. If this is your first time visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you can probably skip the Park Hopper Option simply because there will be so much to experience in each of the four theme parks, you will need a full day!
Joshua, after you have your tickets purchased, you will need to
link them to the members of your party in your
My Disney Experience Account.
Once your tickets are linked, you can then make your
Disney Park Pass system reservations. These reservations are required for entry in addition to your theme park ticket. If you want to make sure that your desired dates are still available, you can easily check on the
Availability Calendar.
I hope that this gave you a bit of insight, Joshua! Please come back here if we can help you decide where to play, stay, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.
See you real soon!
