Welcome to planDisney, Cynthia. I’m so glad you stopped by with your question for us.
Having a Park Hopper is a great way to visit multiple parks in one day, especially in your case, you’re not wanting to spend an entire day at
Epcot. You’ll need to make a park reservation via the
Disney Park Pass system for the first park you plan on visiting. After you enter the first park, you’ll be able to visit the next park after 2 PM. At this time, Guests do not need to make a park reservation for the second park, however this may change. For the latest guidelines, be sure to check the
Walt Disney World Resort website.
Purchasing your one-day
Park Hopper ticket is fairly simple. I took a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar for the arrival date you listed (April 13). It looks like all four parks are currently green, meaning you’ll be able to make a park reservation for any of them. When you’re ready to purchase your ticket, head over to “
Theme Park Tickets”. You’ll see options for Florida residents near the top, and when you scroll down, you should see a section for Standard Theme Park Tickets for all Guests. Once you click “Select”, you’ll be prompted at the next screen to choose how many days you wish to visit the parks. Scroll a bit lower and you’ll see the option to add “Park Hopper Option”. And then scroll down and you’ll see a calendar. Select the date you wish to visit, then near the bottom of the screen, pick how many tickets you want. Follow the subsequent prompts and you’ll be able to complete your purchase.
Given the limited availability of park reservations, I highly recommend that you buy your tickets soon
AND make a park reservation as soon as possible. Then voilà, you’re all set and ready for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
