We were trying to get a 7 pm Reservation for Cinderellas castle for dinner but could only get an 8pm. Now we’re worried we may miss the big experience of seeing the fireworks. How long does it take to eat? Do they start exactly at 9? Help!

MaryAnn, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest!

There's nothing quite like a magical meal at Cinderella's Royal Table. This spectacular setting truly feels like you're walking right into the middle of a storybook, and it's easy to imagine you're a part of the story with the royal feast and strolling princesses! I dined here with my nieces and nephews and it's still a memory that brings excitement and wonder every time we reminisce together.

MaryAnn, I know you're wondering if you'll be able to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks with an 8 PM advance dining reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. Guests are advised to schedule around an hour and a half for dining experiences, and perhaps a little longer for busier times. Also, Guests are asked to depart the castle 20 minutes prior to showtime since the area around Cinderella Castle will be roped off for the entertainment. With that being said, it will likely be difficult to enjoy both your dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and view Happily Ever After. These are experiences you'll want to savor, not rush! But have a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, MaryAnn – I have a few ideas for you!

    • If you choose to keep your 8:00 reservation, you'll still have a truly spectacular time! Imagine dining inside the castle, enjoying a delicious meal with your loved ones, and looking out the windows at the sparkling fireworks surrounding you. This is a very unique, special experience that few people have had and may make your dinner feel that much more magical!
    • Continue to check back for an earlier reservation time. As Guests' plans can often shift and change, there's a chance that more reservations may pop up that fit within your desired schedule. I like to keep a tab open on my computer and check a few times a day leading up to my trip! I've had success getting a new reservation even the day before or the morning of my visit. Additionally, there are some free online reservation finder tools that you may choose to look into and use to help notify you if reservations pop up!
    • Keep an eye on the Hours & Events Calendar leading up to your trip! As schedules can sometimes change, this will be a great way to make sure that you know exactly when to expect fireworks and nighttime entertainment. At the time of this writing, the Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular is scheduled for 9:20 PM during the time of your visit!
MaryAnn, the true magic of visiting Walt Disney World Resort is making memories with your loved ones that will last a lifetime. No matter what you see or do, these special moments are sure to be the highlight of your trip! I'm wishing upon a star that all of your dreams come true, and if you have any other questions, please visit us again.

    Blue skies and sunshine,
    Michelle
