I am trying to plan a visit in March 2012 & was wanting to avoid "Spring Break" week. Does anyone know what week spring break is for March 2012. Thanks

Hi Melissa! You're wise to be trying to time your Disney vacation to avoid "Spring Break" since attendance levels in the parks are quite high then. The week prior to Easter is traditionally a period of peak attendance levels at Walt Disney World, and in 2012 that would be the first week of April. However, many schools and colleges throughout the country have Spring Breaks at varying times so you can expect larger crowds in the parks in March and April. The unofficial website www.TouringPlans.com has a crowd calendar that predicts attendance levels at Disney. According to this website, March 10 marks the start of Spring Break season in 2012, and crowds will be at high levels for about a month after that date. For this reason, I'd recommend that you choose the first week of March for your 2012 vacation.
