I am trying to plan a vacation for the end of July, and had a couple questions. If we are not staying on site, can we book dining reservations before we go, if we can how far in advance. Also, where can I find the calendar that list magic hours for July.

    Hi Sarah,

All guests can make advance dining reservations at the Disney World restaurants up to 180 days in advance. The only difference is that guests staying on Disney property can make reservations at the 180 day point for their entire trip (up to 10 days), while guests staying off site can make each day's reservations at the 180 day mark. However, since you're planning a July trip, this point is moot.

The Disney World parks calendars can be found on the DisneyWorld.com website. Click this Calendar link. You can change the date shown by clicking the calendar icon near the top center of the page. Extra Magic Hours are noted in the right hand column of the calendar. Please note that Extra Magic Hours are a perk only available to guests staying on site. (Some off-site guests do try to avoid the EMH parks as part of their scheduling process.)

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
