Hi. We are trying to plan a vacation to Disney this year. We are a family of five and we are on a tight budget. What months of the year are the best to travel?

    Hi Yineirie!

The great thing about a Walt Disney World vacation is that it can be customized to any budget level. Some of my budget friendly tips are to book your vacation for September. Typically Disney offers a free dining promotion in September and this is a great way to save a ton of money on your vacation!

Another money saving tip is to book your stay at a value resort. My family loves Disney's All Star Movies Resort. My son loves Toy Story, so he always loved staying in the Toy Story section and seeing the giant Buzz and Woody.

A tip that not many know is that the Magic Your Way Tickets offer more value the longer you stay. In February I was debating whether to do three-day or five-day park tickets, then when I compared the price I discovered that the price difference was negligible and the longer I stayed, the cheaper the tickets were per day.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
