Trying to plan and unsure what parks to visit first. we have the hopper pass. we will be arriving dec 24th 2012. We have 7 adults a 6 year old and a 10 month old.

    Hi Jodi,

Since you're visiting during peak holiday season, the very most important thing to do is arrive at the parks EARLY, at least half an hour before the earliest possible opening time. I understand that this may be challenging with a larger party and small children, but you will often be able to experience more in the first two hours of park opening during peak season than you will during most of the rest of the day. Also, because of the holidays, there is a small possibility that park admittance will be curtailed for a few hours in the afternoons. Getting there first thing in the morning will assure your park entry.

With smaller kids, I'd start with the Magic Kingdom. That's likely to be your "must do" place. In general, Epcot will feel less crowded because of its larger space. As for which park on which day, you may want to head over to the independent website touringplans.com. They have Crowd Calendar which assesses which will be the best to visit each day. You'll also want to look at their park touring plans. The statisticians at that site have done tons of research and figured out the fastest order to visit the attractions. There may be a small fee to access some of the data, but in my opinion, if it saves you time in line, then it's well worth it.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
