I am trying to plan a trip spending as little money as possible for 2 people. any tips?

    Hi Rachel! Welcome to planDisney!

Doing Disney on a budget is definitely possible! What I love most about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is that you can make it as extravagant or as budget-friendly as you wish, and either way you'll still be constantly surrounded by the wonder of the Resort as a whole! As a family of five, we have to work fairly hard to get the chance to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth even once a year, so we try to pack in as much as possible while we're visiting! I think you'll find that there are so many ways to save a little money on your trip without sacrificing any of the magic!

    1) Be Our Guest!
To me, not staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is just not an option.  I think one of the most enchanting parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is feeling like you're constantly surrounded by the magic - a feeling you can only get from being a Guest of a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. With Disney Value Resorts that are exciting, colorful, fun and full of amazing amenities, you won't have to worry about spending a lot to enjoy this feeling.  Check out Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's All-Star Music, Movies or Sports Resorts for the best deals on Disney Resorts.

    2) Enjoy Quick Service!
You don't have to spend a lot on fancy sit-down meals in order to enjoy your days within the Parks and Resorts. Quick Service dining options such as Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris at EPCOT and Harambe Market at Disney's Animal Kingdom still allow you and your Guests to discover new and exciting meals without spending too much of your budget on food.

    3) Keep Checking!
Visit the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page of the Walt Disney World website frequently. Even if there are no offers that currently apply to you or your party, definitely check back as you continue the planning process.  If a discount becomes available before your stay you can always apply it to your already-planned reservation or vacation package.

I hope this information has been helpful Rachel.  Come back and see us again with any other planning questions!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
