Welcome to planDisney, Courtney! I’m so glad you reached out with this question, because planning a
Disneyland visit for a group of ten can feel like organizing a parade of its own. The great news is there are some excellent savings and smart strategies available for Southern California residents.
At this time, the Disneyland Resort doesn’t offer discounted tickets based solely on group size. Group rates are typically limited to special programs or ticketed events rather than standard theme park admission. That said, there is a
California Resident ticket offer that may be a great fit for your group. This special offer provides savings on a 3-day Park Hopper ticket and is valid for visits between January 1 and May 21, 2026. Since everyone in your group is a Southern California resident, this is likely the best option to explore. Just keep in mind that each adult Guest will need to present a valid government-issued photo ID showing a qualifying California ZIP code both at purchase and park entry.
Now for a few Q-Tips when it comes to tackling the parks with a group this size. Some attractions are especially fun when you can ride together.
Pirates of the Caribbean is a classic choice (there’s something very satisfying about filling an entire boat with your own group).
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue is another favorite, especially with the added excitement of someone in your party possibly being chosen as the Rebel Spy. For thrill-seekers,
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is a fantastic option and always delivers memorable ride photos. If you’re looking to slow the pace a bit, the
Disneyland Railroad offers a relaxing way to enjoy the park while keeping everyone together.
A little planning can also go a long way with a larger group. Arriving early gives you a chance to experience popular attractions before crowds build, and
mobile ordering meals can save you a lot of time later in the day. If you’re hoping to catch a nighttime spectacular like
Paint the Night, it’s wise to choose a viewing spot at least 45 to 60 minutes in advance, especially in high-demand areas like
Main Street, U.S.A. or near “
it’s a small world.”
Courtney, I hope this helps you feel more confident as you plan an unforgettable Disneyland adventure for your group. If more questions pop up along the way, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.
Have an incredible day filled with magical moments and shared laughter!
