chEARs Jose!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so sorry that your trip was delayed secondary to Hurricane Maria. It sounds like you and your loved ones are on the road to recovery, and I am happy that your recovery includes a trip to
Walt Disney World! Now, I don’t know what you’ve hEARd, but let me lay out the current policy for
Florida Resident tickets.
To be eligible for
“resident” tickets, all adults (age 18 and over) need to have
proof of Florida residency. That proof can come in a variety of forms, including:
-State or military-issued ID card with Florida address.
-Bills, Policies or Registration in their name (i.e., automobile registration, insurance policy or statement from utilities, insurance, mortgage, etc. note though that the bills can be no more than two months old).
-Mail from a certified institution such as a bank, federal, or state agency with their name.
Current statements and bills that are printed from an electronic version or via smartphones are acceptable. If you have minor children that will be visiting
the ‘World, the
Florida Resident family member CAN purchase their
tickets and receive the discount.
Jose, I hope that was clear. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I wish you a
magical celebration!
