Allison from PA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, I am trying to plan a trip for January of 2026 but it is not allowing me to choose hotel dates for that time. Do you know when the January dates will be available for me to choose? Thank you!

Hiya Allison! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending in your question. Oh boy, what a magical countdown you'll have soon and such a terrific way to kick off the new year!

I've got an exciting answer for you ... literally any day now! Disneyland reservations and tickets for the upcoming year historically go on sale sometime in August. There are a couple of ways you can be alerted to this magical news.

    1. Head to the Disneyland website, and try the calendar button on the Build Your Vacation tool at the top of the page. Once those 2026 dates are enabled, they are available to book! I love using this tool (even before my dates are available) to get a feel for prices, Disney resort options, and room types to choose from.

    2. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the pixie-dusted announcement! They will post an article once those 2026 Disneyland packages are released.

In the meantime... have you checked out all the wonder that is Disneyland 70th Celebration? There are so many incredible "extras" taking place as part of the festivities, and the celebration will still be happening when you visit. These special, limited time offerings look incredible and have me wanting to plan a Disneyland trip for my own family. Woo hooo!!

Allison, I hope this helps. Enjoy every magical moment of your Disneyland vacation! Please send us another question at planDisney if we can assist with any other practically perfect details to add to your trip.

    Have a magical day!
    Tami
