We're trying to plan a trip to disney in Florida with our kids. We would like to go when there is a slow time, if there is one. What month do you recommend.

I've looked at some historical data and consulted the fabulous independent website touringplans.com (a must-check for anyone selecting Disney visit dates). Overall, the months of September and October are the lowest crowd times to visit. Almost all school districts throughout the country will be in session then and people seem more reluctant to pull their kids out of school early in the year. If you wait until the beginning part of October, you'll have low crowds, plus the weather will be a bit less sticky than you'll find in most of September.

    Happy planning!
