Kimberly from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are trying to plan a trip for 4 adults and 2 children to Disneyland in Feb. 2024, but the packages aren’t open to get pricing and reservations. When do you think we will be able to plan and reserve? Trying to plan budgeting!

    Hey there, Kimberly!

Welcome to planDisney and I'm so happy that you'll be taking your family to the Disneyland Resort next year! My friend and fellow panelist Greg L also makes the trek from Arizona, so I understand the need to budget appropriately.

Historically, Disney has released Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages and hotel reservations for the next calendar year around the latter half of August, so hopefully you won't have too long to wait before being able to price them out. While Disney has not yet made any official announcements on this subject, I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date on the latest news. Whenever they are released, I'm sure that Disney will allow you plenty of time for planning. Park reservations are generally released on a rolling basis 120 days in advance and that date is quickly approaching for next year, so we should hopefully hear something soon.

Have you considered which hotel to choose? We have some exciting things to look forward to! The Paradise Pier Hotel will continue its transformation into the Pixar Pier Hotel, so look for new offerings at that property. My favorite has always been the original Disneyland Hotel, but you can't beat the elegance and architecture of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. No matter which you choose, you can't go wrong!

Kimberly, I hope that this was helpful for you and that you have fun planning your vacation! If there is anything else that we can do for you, please visit us again anytime! You're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
