    Trying to plan a surprise Christmas trip. Don’t want to tells kids (16 & 21) until a few days ahead. Want to buy tickets ASAP so we can make park reservations. How do I keep them from knowing. Since they both have MDE app and check it regularly?

    Ohmygoodness, I LOVE this idea! I can only imagine the excitement around your house when your Mouseketeers find out they're going to get to enjoy The Most Magical Place on Earth during the holidays!

    I chatted with a friendly Cast Member and am happy to let you know that there IS a way you can pull off your surprise and still go ahead and purchase tickets and make Disney Park Pass reservations. You could simply create duplicates of your kiddos within your My Disney Experience account, then merge those accounts with their real ones once they know about the trip. To make it easy to keep the accounts separate, I'd recommend putting their names in all capital letters for these surprise tickets. When it's time to merge accounts, you may either use the chat feature for help or call Technical Support at (407) 939-7765. I'm sending pixie dust that you'll be able to keep the visit a secret and that the surprise reveal will be practically perfect in every way!
