Hi Katie,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope that you're having a blast dreaming about your September visit, and we're so glad that we can play a small part in your trip by helping you plan a vacation that you'll cherish for years to come!
I'm happy to let you know that
Magic Kingdom Park will be decked out in gorgeous fall decorations in September even during the day. Your trip down Main Street U.S.A. will be a treat for the senses with gorgeous autumn colors bringing lampposts and buildings to life and the smells of special fall treats filling the air and inviting you to try some. While the theme park will undergo a few additional transformations before
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially begins at 7:00 p.m., you'll be able to enjoy plenty of fall fun during the daytime, too. And yes, you will find smaller crowd levels earlier in the day simply because it's a shorter day and some Guests with 1 Park Per Day tickets will choose to head to a different theme park that will remain open later. In the past, Guests with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets were able to enter Magic Kingdom Park earlier than the party's scheduled start time, so there's a chance that the late afternoon crowd may pick up a bit, but you should be able to enjoy relatively smaller crowds throughout most of the day.
Please feel free to keep your questions coming, Katie, as we're always here and happy to help. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation this
fall!
Missy
