I am trying to plan a last minute a trip for my family. There will be 3 adults and 5 children. Which resort would best accomodate us in one room or have connecting rooms and is also handicap accessible? Thinking of going the first week December? Crowded?

    Hey Jamie,

You called; we heard.  We're at your service to help you plan your last minute trip for your large group. Disney has a great site that can help you plan sleeping arrangements for everyone in your party.  Best of all; you can stay together.  Each resort is listed with the number of people that can be accommodated.  My vote would be for Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.  The resort not only can sleep up to nine guests, but the kids will enjoy being so close to all the African wildlife that reside nearby. Handicap accessible rooms are also available at this resort.

First week of December is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  The Thanksgiving guests have left and the Christmas guests have not arrived yet. You get to experience all the joys of the holiday but none of the crowds.  This has always been my favorite time of year to plan a vacation.

Happy holidays and have a magical vacation!

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters.
