I am trying to plan my future visit and when I enter my hotel reservation number and do the match people it’s showing my 3 year old as an adult how can I fix that?

Hi Kelli, and welcome back to planDisney! I’d be happy to help with your Disney Resort hotel reservation so you’re all set to plan your upcoming trip.

It sounds like the Disney World website might be glitching or, when your 3-year-old’s profile was created, their age was accidentally inputted as 18+. Either way, Hakuna Matata! When I’ve had some tricky website and app issues, I called the My Disney Experience phone number and Cast Members were happy to help troubleshoot. I’d recommend reaching out to them by phone and they should be able to fix your kiddo's profile.

As a Disney Resort Hotel guest, I don't want you to miss any of the perks you'll get for maximizing the magic! Before you arrive, you can book dining and Enchanting Extras 60 days before check-in for your whole stay (up to 10 days). This is really helpful for snagging hard-to-get character breakfasts, like my favorite with Mickey and friends at Topolino’s Terrace! You can also buy Lightning Lane Passes seven days ahead of check-in for your entire stay (up to 14 days). Popular Lightning Lane selections go quickly, so the availability will be much better booking with this leg up.

When you're at Disney World, you'll be able to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening with Early Theme Park Entry. My family loves to take advantage of this head start by riding a couple of attractions with lower wait times, especially when we're trying to get in as much as possible before nap time! And if you’re staying at a Deluxe Resort hotel or Deluxe villa, you’ll also get access to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.

I love staying at Disney Resort Hotels because each one has its own unique theme. But there are also some magical surprises, like visits from Disney pals throughout the week. These appearances used to feel like a bit of pixie dust, but more recently I’ve seen signs with specific days and times in the lobbies. Keep an eye out for the schedule or ask at the front desk. Seeing the characters in this more relaxed setting is great for easing little ones into meeting them for the first time. Seeing my nephew run around the BoardWalk Inn with Chip ’n’ Dale is one of my favorite core memories!

And finally, there’s a brand new perk for 2025—complimentary water park admission on check-in day! It’s such a great way to kick off your vacation while you wait for your room to be ready.

I hope you have a magical stay at Disney World! And if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
