Hiya Katie! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear you are planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort! March is a wonderful time of the year to visit. Typically, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival begins around this time, although an official announcement has not been just yet.
I'm happy that you are leaning toward staying at a
Disney Resorts hotel for your trip! Choosing one of these resorts comes with a host of benefits, one being
complimentary Disney Transportation to and from the parks each day. It's nice to wake up each morning knowing that this piece of the planning is already accounted for.
Almost all of the Disney Resorts hotels have a limited amount of connecting rooms available. However, this will not be an option when booking your stay. You'll need to make two separate resort reservations and then request connecting rooms once they are booked. These requests are not guaranteed but Disney Cast Members will take them into account when assigning your rooms. The easiest way to make this request is by
calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and speaking to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be happy to note this request on each of your reservations.
Katie, depending on how large your group is, some resorts offer two and three-bedroom villas. These resort rooms can sleep anywhere from 8 to 12 Guests and provide enough space for everyone to be comfortable. It's also nice having a common area that is separate from the bedrooms for everyone to hang out in throughout the day. I suggest checking out the
Disney Deluxe Villas for these types of accommodations.
Have a magical day, Katie!
