Hi Mary Ann! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Reading your question reminds me how lucky I am that I come from a large family! Being one of five siblings, our family vacations every year were always so special to me. It was a guaranteed time each year when all of us, grandparents included, were able to enjoy spending time together as a family unit. I can't think of a better place to share these special memories than at the
Walt Disney World Resort!
Mary Ann, choosing to stay at one of the Deluxe Villas is perfect for large families. Many of these properties offer 3-Bedroom Grand Villas that can accommodate up to 12 Guests.
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney's Old Key Resort are two of my favorites for big groups. The rooms are very spacious and tend to be greatly accommodating.
Being that you have more than 12 Guests and prefer to have a fourth bedroom, you'll need to get creative on how you book your stay. Connecting rooms are typically not an option when staying in a Deluxe Studio and 3-Bedroom Grand Villa, however, you can request to have them located very close to each other. These requests are not guaranteed, but Cast Members will take them into account when assigning your rooms. While this setup will fit your growing family, I would also look into booking two, 2-Bedroom Villas for your stay. This will allow you to split up the group evenly and give you even more space to enjoy each other's company. Again, you can put in a request after booking your stay for these rooms to be located near each other so you won't have far to travel from room to room.
I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay!
