Hiya, Jill! I’m so glad you traveled under the sea, made it through the Cave of Wonders, and found your way to planDisney!
I can't think of a better backdrop for a vacation than
Walt Disney World Resort! And with Mickey Mouse as your magical host, you know you’ll be invited into a world of imagination and wonder. I’m so excited for you and your travel party to join in on the fun!
Jill, my best tip for planning a trip with multiple families is to ask each family to create their own
My Disney Experience accounts. Then, each family can reserve their own room at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort. Once each family has created their reservations, you can connect with each other in your
Family & Friends List. This will make planning together so much easier! Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Add a Guest." Personally, I have the best experience when selecting "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation." After your travel party is linked together, you can
call a Cast Member and request for your rooms to be connected (or near each other). While this can't be guaranteed, Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate your request! And if you need any assistance with the above steps, they will be happy to take a peek at your reservations and make sure everything is all set before you arrive.
Finally, I have a few more tips for you! A way to make sure your evenings feel even more magical is to experience one of the nighttime spectaculars, like
Fantasmic! in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Not only that, but if you and your crew love classic characters, I’d recommend planning your meet-and-greets with the
My Disney Experience app. Tap the map icon (second from the left) and change the category from “Wait Times” to “Characters.” And if you happen to be more of the villainous type, look no further than making a reservation at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White! Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy will visit your table, but you can also meet The Queen, herself! Make sure that you make any
advance dining reservations starting 60 days prior to your trip. If you stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel (like Disney's All-Star Movies Resort), you can make your reservations 60 days in advance for the length of your trip, up to 10 days. Can't think of a better way to secure some magical memories for your vacation!
Jill, I'm wishing on a star that your upcoming trip is an extra special one. I hope that your vacation is filled with magic, surprises, and fireworks!
Dream a fantastic dream,
Michelle
