Hi there, I am trying to plan a family trip to Disneyland Resort for my six-year-old's birthday weekend. Does the Disneyland Resort have any special activities for a birthday boy?

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Spending a birthday at the Disneyland Resort is the best.

Stop by Guest Services to get your little pirate a free birthday button to wear. Cast Members that see him in the parks will send him warm wishes. We love to visit a lot of Meet 'N' Greets when celebrating magical birthdays, the Characters know how to make each Guest feel special.

We like to book a Character Dining Experience. Be sure to tell the Cast Member that you're celebrating a birthday. Our favorite is Goofy's Kitchen - the Disney Characters tend to be a bit zany when they visit your table for pictures and autographs.

You can also sprinkle some pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. You can call the Disney cake number at (714)781-3463. They'll need at least 72 hours notice prior to your date.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is not just for princesses… boys can join in on the fun too! They have the Knight Package. Depending on your arrival, the new Anna & Elsa Boutique may be open as well. There your son can experience a fun Frozen inspired makeover; does he like to build a snowman? To book an appointment at either Boutique, call (714)781-STYLE.

You can order an “In-Room Celebrations” through a Disney Dream Maker, they will come to your Disneyland Resort Hotel room and decorate. They also deliver to certain local hotels in a small area outside of the Disneyland Resort; however, these gifts will be delivered to the front desk. You can visit www.disneyfloralandgifts.com or call Disney Floral & Gifts at (714)781-GIFT to discuss a magical order.

I hope this is helpful. If you have any more questions please write me back on how I can help you plan your pixie dusted vacation.

    chEARs!
