Hello I am trying to plan a Disney vacation. There are 6 of us 2 ad 4 kids ages 1-17.We want to go in April but can't decide between the cruise or the park. I also saw that kids cruise free in April but I cannot find the discount when I go onto the website.

Welcome aboard, Amber! Planning any type of Disney vacation is so exciting, but a cruise is our favorite by far! On Disney Cruise Line, there are activities for families together, children and teens on their own and adults on their own, so everyone has a chance to do what they'd like. Adults love that they can relax as well, since in the parks there isn't quite as much of a chance to enjoy downtime alone!

Disney does quite often run a Kids Sail Free promotion, and recently they offered one on certain sailings through April on the Magic and Wonder. The promotion is no longer being advertised because the majority of rooms available for this promotion are sold. However, I spoke with a reservation agent at Disney Cruise Line who said that there may still be a few left, and they are always happy to check for guests, even when the promotion isn't being advertised any longer. So, it wouldn't hurt to give Disney Cruise Line a call and ask for your specific sail dates. You might find that you are able to book one of the very few staterooms participating that are left.

If not, sailing in off times can always save money. Summer will be more expensive of course, because it's much easier for families to travel when the kids are out of school. If you can travel in off times, you'll find some great prices that might be equivalent to a Kids Sail Free promotion. Good luck planning, Amber!
