Ahoy, Monique!
You have definitely chosen the right vacation for your crew ranging from preschool age to teens! In my opinion, Disney Cruise Line has the best youth spaces and programming on the seven seas! My daughter was four on our first sailing and is now 14 and has loved every minute of her time in the
Oceaneer Club,
Oceaneer Lab and
Edge. She can't wait to try
Vibe next! When your crew is not enjoying the youth spaces, they can splash around in the pools, catch a first-run movie, sing karaoke, watch a fabulous Broadway-style production or have a yummy ice cream on deck! They will have the time of their lives! There are easy ways to stay in touch with your older sailors while they experience all the magic at sea. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app is available for download for Apple and Android devices and can be used for texting other Guests who have it downloaded. It's free and works in airplane mode, so there are no data or roaming charges to worry about. I used it with my daughter and husband on our last sailing, and it worked really well. If you do not have an Apple or Android device, you can use the
Wave phones that are available to each Guest. Each stateroom has two and can be used for calls and texting. Additional phones are available for a fee and there is a charge if they are lost or damaged, so you will want to discuss the importance of keeping up with them with your children.
I'm so glad I could assist you, Monique!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
