Hi Susan, and welcome to planDisney! A bachelorette party at Walt Disney World Resort sounds so fun, and I am excited to help you out with your planning!
First off, with a party of 16, I highly suggest booking a villa or suite at a resort. The
Casitas Suites at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort sleep up to six guests, and Coronado Springs has some delicious restaurants, including
Maya Grill and
Toledo-Tapas, Steak, & Seafood. You can book a
spa day and have a blowout service at La Vida Health Club, and follow up with a fun lesson on how sangria is made (and make some yourself!) at
Sangria University. Coronado Springs has so much to offer!
Next, I suggest planning an evening at Disney's EPCOT Park. Stop by the Mexico pavilion at World Showcase, and experience a fun tequila tasting at
La Cava Experience, inside the pyramid! If the bride is more of a wine girl, check out
Les Vins des Chefs de France, located in the France Pavilion, or
Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, located in the Italy Pavilion. Finish off the evening by exiting EPCOT through the International Gateway (located between the France and United Kingdom Pavilions) and head on down to Disney's Boardwalk, where you can sing your heart out at
Jellyrolls.
One more suggestion I highly recommend is a brunch! Check out
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' or
Wine Bar George, located at Disney Springs. Both have delicious food, and fun cocktails, you can't go wrong with either one! Have the most magical visit to Walt Disney World, Susan! Stop by again with any other questions you may have. Happy Planning!
Frances
