I am trying to pick my park reservations for September, but the whole month is blocked out. Can I change my reservation for another time so I can actually pick my park days?

    Heya Lisa!

Welcome from all of us at planDisney! We're so happy that you came to us with your question. I hope you're excited for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Visiting the Disneyland Resort during the summer brings back such a sense of nostalgia and reminds me of summer vacations when, as a child, my parents would take me almost annually. I know you're going to have a fantastic time!

Reservations for the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks are released on a rolling basis 120 days in advance. I suspect that you checked the Reservation Calendar a little too early and found the entire month blocked off because reservations had not yet been opened. I just checked for Reservation Availability and there are plenty of open days around the dates of your visit! Just navigate over to the Tickets and Reservations page and click on "Make Park Reservations" to secure your dates, which you should be able to do now.

There are so many exciting items coming this summer at the Disneyland Resort! Tiana's Palace will be opening in Disneyland Park and San Fransokyo Square will be coming to Disney California Adventure. If you're a Marvel fan, "Rogers: The Musical" is set to debut at the Hyperion Theater for a limited engagement. And the Disney100 Celebration will be going on this entire year, with new foods and decorations to enjoy!

Lisa, I hope that you are able to make your reservations now and that you have fun planning your trip! If we can be of more help, feel free to reach out again!

    Have A Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
