I have been trying for months to get a character breakfast reservation. Any chance that I can still get in with just a walk in? It is my daughter's birthday. Thanks for advice.

    Hi Pam,

The hardest part of all of my Disney vacation planning is obtaining the perfect dining reservations. The Disney restaurants, especially those with the character dining experiences, are very popular and many fill quite early.

If you are open to any character location and are flexible with time, you may want to call again and see if there is anything the Cast Member can suggest. If you are part of a large party, advise the reservationist if you are willing to split your party between two tables. Often we have been able to squeeze in to our favorite location by being open to a late dinner. If this does not work for you, then yes it is always possible that something will open up at the last minute. There are often no shows or late cancellations. it is a good idea to ask your concierge at the resort to check on availability. Be sure to stop and ask the hostess at the restaurant as she may be able to find an opening. It never hurts to mention that it is your princess' birthday--you never know when the birthday pixie dust might occur.

Good luck and I hope she has a magical birthday celebration!
