    Trying maximize fun/not bore ds (8, 5,2 wigglers) with long waits for shows. Have seen that we can do ADR for Mama Melrose to go to Fantasmic and Tusker House to go to Nemo. Is this true? Will it prevent lines and waits? We love getting your answers!

    Hi Jennifer,

    Yes it is true, the Fantasmic dining package has been available at selected Disney's Hollywood Studios restaurants for ages and the Nemo dining package at Tusker House has just started. As you say it really does cut down your wait time for these 2 shows although I'd still recommend arriving 30 minutes before show time. There are some restrictions which I'll list below!

    For the Fantasmic dining package you can dine at Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine or the Brown Derby. You can use the Disney Dining Plan at all of these but the Brown Derby requires 2 credits. Reservations are at various times depending on what time Fantasmic is showing but you should expect to dine early, normally before 5 p.m. You will be given a pass for each member of your party for your reserved seating. Although the seating is not the best view, it's at the far right as you look down, we found the view to be fine and it was great not to wait for 90 minutes! Even though we use the package I always pack something to keep my children occupied like playing cards or colouring books, they also love joining in the mexican waves. One thing you may want to do is watch Fantasmic on YouTube as it can be a bit scary for little ones!

    At Animal Kingdom Tusker House now offers reserved seating for the 3.15 p.m. performance of Finding Nemo the Musical for dining reservations between 1 p.m. and 1.40 p.m. Nemo is a must see show and the queues are often huge so this really is a great offer, again you'll be given a pass for your party.

    For both packages make sure to stipulate that you want the Nemo or Fantasmic package when you book your advanced dining reservations.
