Hi Tanya,
Thanks for bringing your tech-savvy question to planDisney. Technology can be both a hero and a villain at times and I can relate to the exact frustration you speak of. The good news is you have plenty of time to get everyone linked in My Disney Experience before your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Mickey and the rest of the
Disney Fab 50 characters can't wait to welcome you to
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
When planning with travel companions, Tanya, it's important to have everyone linked as
Family and Friends in
My Disney Experience. Adults and children ages 13-17 may have their own My Disney Experience account. Alternately, an individual can add a Guest of any age to their account, making the account owner the only one who can manage that Guest's plans. I understand you're having trouble connecting with your friend's children. My friend Alyssa recently shared some
troubleshooting tips with another Guest experiencing a similar issue. It sounds like you're doing all the right things, though, so it may be time to enlist the help of a Cast Member by calling the My Disney Experience and MagicBands team at (407) 939-4357. Disney Cast Members are my favorite Disney sidekick. With the heart of Pascal and the loyalty of Sven, they will be glad to help connect all members of your party in My Disney Experience.
If you're looking to make advanced
dining reservations for your March trip, you may do so without everyone being linked in My Disney Experience. Table service dining experiences provide a great break during an otherwise busy park day. I also support snacking around World Showcase at the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. Be sure to stay connected with planDisney for all of your trip-planning needs!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
