    Hello...I am trying to join a fish extender group for the 4 night Disney Dream cruise which starts August 11th. Any suggestions on how I join?

    Welcome aboard, Wanda! You have only a few weeks left until you set sail with Disney on the Dream! I bet you are getting excited!

    The Fish Extender exchanges are not sponsored by Disney Cruise Line. These are actually just groups of guests who meet in Disney fan chat forums online and decide to exchange gifts amongst themselves while sailing. Do a search online for "Disney Cruise Fish Extender Group" and you will see some links pop up. Disboards.com is a big forum that normally has quite a few fish extender groups and meets for each sailing. If you visit their site, you can click on Disney Cruise Line, then Forums, (both tabs at the top in grey or white) then Disney Cruise Meets in the subforums. There you can search for your particular sailing by choosing the "Find Your 2013 Dream Meet" link, then your sail dates on the next page.

    Check as soon as you can, Wanda, because many of the groups set a cut-off date to join the exchange a few weeks or months before the cruise so the others have time to make or purchase the right amount of gifts. You may have missed it, but perhaps not. Each group is organized by the people going on that particular cruise, so they each set their own rules. 

    My family loves to participate in the exchanges on each of our sailings, as our kids really look forward to the extra magic it creates! I hope that helps and that you're able to find your particular group!
