Hi Denise! Welcome to planDisney!
The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour is truly one of the merriest experiences of the season, and I’d love to help you unwrap some details as you plan.
As of now, tickets for this popular guided tour haven’t been released yet. Typically, tours open for booking about 60 days in advance. So if you’re hoping to join in on November 14, the day the
Holidays officially kick off at the Disneyland Resort, it’s a good idea to check in mid-September. That said, the timing can vary, so I always suggest keeping a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog. It’s the go-to source for updates, not only about tour availability but also about entertainment, seasonal décor, and the little surprises that make the holidays so special.
While we’re still waiting on the official announcement, we already have some delightful glimpses of what’s to come. When night falls, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle twinkles with icy blue lights and snow-dusted towers. Standing on Main Street, while snowflakes drift through the air to the sound of carols is a memory that sparkles brighter than any ornament. To add to the cheer, Mickey, Minnie, and friends will debut festive outfits designed with a nod to Disneyland’s 70th Celebration which is perfect for photos that will make your holiday card shine.
No holiday season would be complete without a ride through “it’s a small world” Holiday in Fantasyland. Its glowing façade covered in thousands of lights is a beacon of joy, and inside you’ll be greeted by children from around the globe celebrating the holidays in dazzling costumes with songs that weave together in harmony.
And let’s not forget Disney California Adventure! The Disney Festival of Holidays fills the park with music, dance, and culinary delights from around the world. Buena Vista Street is decked out in vintage-inspired décor that feels straight out of a classic holiday film, while Cars Land gets a whimsical transformation with snow-car displays and festive overlays on attractions like Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Also, be sure to stroll through the Festive Foods Marketplace! It’s the perfect place to sip, snack, and savor your way through the season.
Denise, I hope this paints a joyful picture of what’s waiting for you this year. If you have more questions as you plan, please visit us again! We love helping guests make their holidays merry and bright.
Wishing you a season filled with pixie dust and holiday sparkle!
