Hi Chasity!
Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by! With so many new experiences coming to the
Walt Disney World Resort, there is a ton to be excited about. Let's jump right into your question and help you plan for a magical stay!
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is set to debut July 20th at the Magic Kingdom. It's been years since this park has seen a nighttime parade, so I'm sure it will live up to all the expectations. As you mentioned,
parade hours have only been announced until August 2nd. It seems like it will run twice a night during the initial couple of weeks. It will be interesting to see if it continues to do so after that.
Since this is a new experience, Disney will most likely get a feel for how it initially debuts and if the performance times make sense. My best guess is that hours for future dates will continue to be released slowly. Typically, park hours and special happenings are announced about 60 days in advance, but that is not always the case for every experience. I suggest checking back on the Walt Disney World website periodically for any updates and changes to the schedule.
I'm excited for there to be additional nighttime entertainment at the Magic Kingdom! Having a parade that dazzles under the night sky will pair perfectly with a viewing of
Happily Ever After. If both experiences are important to you and they end up being scheduled close together, you'll want to find a good spot to view each one. I suggest setting up somewhere in front of Cinderella Castle or along Main Street, U.S.A., so you don't have to shuffle around much to view each one.
Chasity, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
