Hello Stacy,
Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, I love answering Guests questions that not only help you but help me for future references, especially when I know my kids would love to do this as well.
After some fun research, coin pressing has been around for 100 years and was introduced in the United States in 1892 at the World's Colombian Exposition held in Chicago, Illinois. And now Walt Disney World has several locations throughout the resort which allows Guests of all ages to participate in this fun and unique souvenir collection. I am providing a
link in which you can print off for your son and will help him locate coin presses while visiting. Who knew there were so many at Walt Disney World?!
As for the Walt Disney World coin press books, they are currently not sold on the Disney online store but after speaking to a Cast Member in merchandising they are sold throughout the Walt Disney World resort. If you would like to purchase one before your stay and have it mailed to you, feel free to contact Merchandise Guest Services at (877)560-6477 or Merchandise.Guest.Services@DisneyParks.com. The item number for the book currently is 400007508064 and retails for $8.95 + tax.
Thank you for your question and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask. Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World, may it be magical and memorable and I hope your son enjoys his soon to be magical coin pressing collection.
