We are trying to find the best resort with a waterslide & play area for little ones. We have a 9 & 3 year old (possibly a zero-entry pool for the 3 year old). Thanks!

The great news is that there are wonderful pools at nearly all the Walt Disney World resort hotels. My favorite is Stormalong Bay, which is a 3-acre pool complex shared by the Yacht and Beach Club resorts. Stormalong Bay includes a real sand-bottom kiddie area that is perfect for a three-year old. In addition to swimming, little ones can build sand castles and sculptures just like they were at the beach, but with the benefit of clean pool water, no rip tide, and plentiful lifeguards. Stormalong Bay also includes two water slides, a large one for older children and adults, as well as mini one for preschoolers and young elementary kids. Your older child can have fun rafting in the lazy river or fighting the currents in the whirlpool area - all in the same pool complex.

Another great pool area is at the Animal Kingdom Lodge's Kidani Village. Kidani has a very drawbacks (I wouldn't recommend staying there without a car) but the interactive waterplay area in unparalled. There is an entire water element playground next to the zero-entry pool.

Other zero-entry pools can be found at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House and others.

At the moderate resort level, the pools at the Coronado Springs and Port Orleans Riverside resorts are also quite popular.

Good luck with your planning and have wonderful Walt Disney World vacation.
