We are trying to finalize our travel plans to and from our Disney Dream Cruise which departs Port Canaveral on June 29. For traveling planning is it possible to find out the embarkation and debarkation times of the shipping leaving and returning to port?

    Hi Eleanore!

I love being able to help out a fellow Georgian!  The Disney Cruise Line Terminal opens at 11:00am and usually begins boarding Guests between 12:00 and 1:00pm.  When you check in online at DisneyCruise.com, you should be able to select a boarding time for your family.  Boarding ends at 4:00 so the ship is ready to set sail around 5:00pm.  After your magical voyage, the ship arrives early in the morning, but disembarkation does not usually begin until 7:45-8:00am.  Once you leave the ship you will have to go through customs and pick up your luggage from the cruise terminal.  Disney's embarkation & disembarkation is very efficient, and I'm always amazed at how quickly and efficiently they can move the Guests through both processes. If you are flying back home, Disney Cruise Line does not recommend planning a flight prior to 11:30am.  If you are driving, you can disembark any time after the time I stated above.

I hope this information helps with your planning.  I also hope you will let me know if you have any further questions before you set sail on your spectacular Disney Cruise vacation!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel and bon voyage!
