    Trying to figure out which Iditarod musher adventure... is lunch included? Ny reviews of the Skagway adventure?

    Ahoy, Preston!

    I remember being in your boat (pun intended!) a couple of years ago when we were trying to narrow down our list of Alaskan adventures! The Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure Team does a phenomenal job of finding excellent excursions ashore so it's tough to pick! When my crew visited Skagway we enjoyed the Musher's Camp and Sled Dog Experience. Is this the one you are considering when you visit? If so, I think you'll love it! Lunch was not included, but there was a little store where you could buy a snack, and I believe they offered hot cider among other drinks. The entire experience was interesting, educational and very interactive. The wheeled sled ride was a blast, and our guide was in training for the Iditarod so she was full of information about the entire process. We felt like experts when we left! Hands down our favorite part was being able to meet and snuggle the adorable Husky puppies because they were so soft and cuddly! 
     
    I would not hesitate to book this excursion, Preston! It did rain a bit while we were there so our waterproof outer layer was very helpful. Be sure to plan for all types of weather because it can be quite unpredictable!
