I am trying to make dinner plans for a night that I am not planning on going to a park. I am wondering if it is possible to have dinner in Downtown Disney without a park pass for that day? If so do you have recommendations with a 3yo?

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Kim!  I am happy to tell you that guests do not need theme park admission to gain entry into Downtown Disney. There is no fee to visit Downtown Disney and parking is free for all guests.  I would highly recommend dinner at either T-REX, A Prehistoric Adventure or Rainforest Café in Downtown Disney with a "little one." T-REX, A Prehistoric Adventure is a popular dinosaur themed restaurant with life-size animatronic creatures and frequent meteor showers. For my family of six, a Walt Disney World vacation is not complete without one prehistoric meal at T-REX. Rainforest Café is another great dining location for children of all ages!  Rainforest Café features a jungle atmosphere with life-size animatronic gorillas and elephants that my children absolutely marvel at. Follow the links I have provided to learn more about T-REX, A Prehistoric Adventure and Rainforest Café. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this information helps. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back. Best wishes for a Roaring good time at Downtown Disney, Kim!
    Happy Planning,
