I am trying to make dining reservations and planning out the logistics of our trip. How would I go from the AK to the monorail to get to 1900 Park Fare? From Hollywood Studios to O'hana for dinner? How do you travel between parks w/o going back to hotel?

    Hello, Jennifer!

You've picked two really great places to dine at the Walt Disney World Resort! 1900 Park Fare and 'Ohana both offer delicious foods and great atmospheres, but one thing my family and I especially love about these dining options is that they are located in some of our favorite Disney Resort hotels. You will have a great time exploring these two Deluxe Resorts when you drop in for dinner.

The Walt Disney World Resort offers complimentary bus transportation to most destinations, including transportation to theme parks from Disney Resort hotels, so you should have no trouble finding a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios to the Disney Resort hotels where your dining reservations are located.

I recommend taking a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (where 1900 Park Fare is located). You will not need to board the monorail to reach your destination. If you want to take the monorail, you could take the bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Magic Kingdom Park and then board the Resort Monorail from there. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa should be the fourth stop, after Disney's Contemporary Resort, the Transportation & Ticket Center, and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I also recommend taking a bus from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for your reservation at 'Ohana. This is the most efficient transportation option for traveling between these two destinations, in my opinion.

Alternatively, if you are concerned about travel times for whatever reason, you could choose to take a taxi to reach your destinations. Please note that transportation by taxi is not complimentary.

I hope you have a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation, Jennifer! Please don't hesitate to stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your trip. Happy planning!
