Hi Timothy, welcome to planDisney!
Apart from arrival day, Disney dining day is my favorite part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown. It's the day I get to lock in my table service dining reservations and start dreaming about the menu options. It's the day I get to determine which
characters I'll be hanging out with during mealtimes. It's also the day I wake up two hours before my regular alarm, which makes it an extra-magical, extra-caffeinated morning.
I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble viewing dining reservation availability for your April visit. Advance reservations for dining can be made 60 days in advance
online or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app ("+" sign on the menu at the bottom --> Check Dining Availability). A new day of reservations typically populates at
5:45 a.m. EST, though 6:00 a.m. is average based on my experience. My panelist pal
Doug confirmed that reservations for April 1 popped up at 6:00 a.m. EST on his computer. That date is currently available for selection on my computer, as well, so there doesn't appear to be a widespread Stitch-uation.
If your tech trouble persists, some troubleshooting tactics that have worked for me in the past are refreshing the webpage, trying a new web browser, logging out and back into
My Disney Experience, and clearing my browser history and cache. Just now an error message appeared while searching for dining availability in the My Disney Experience app, but the error disappeared after a few refreshes.
The good news is I'm still seeing lots of dining reservation availability for April 1, Timothy. A general search for dinner for a party of four just now revealed openings at some of my favorite restaurants like
Garden Grill Restaurant,
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, and
Liberty Tree Tavern. Keep in mind Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before check-in. To take advantage of this magical perk, make sure your Disney Resort hotel reservation is
linked to your My Disney Experience account.
Let's synchronize our watches, Timothy, because our Walt Disney World Resort vacations start a mere 24 hours apart. My alarm is set and my Mickey mug is ready to keep me company as I make Disney magic before the kids wake up. May our memories be many and our error messages few.
Plan magic; planDisney.
Jennifer
