I am trying to decied which Disney resort would be the best fit for 2 adults and a 4 year and 9 month old. I am considering AK, but am worried won't be as much fun as pop culture for the kids, and too kiddy for adults. Any suggestions>

Hi, Susan!  While we have really enjoyed our stays at Pop Century, if your budget allows for a deluxe resort, I can highly recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  We stay there quite often, and you should not get the feeling that it is too "kiddy", but at the same time, it's a resort children should absolutely enjoy.

Each time we've stayed there, the resort has had a list of daily activities for the children to do.  These have included games by the pool, a parade using musical instruments from the gift shop, and arts and crafts.  My girls have always been entertained, even during days when we didn't have a theme park plan in place.

My husband and I have also enjoyed the resort on our own.  We have spent many anniversaries here, and enjoy the signature dining at Jiko.  Both parents and kids alike have thoroughly enjoyed the up close and personal look at some of the animals, and whenever we can, we like to opt for the savannah view.  It's always fun to have a giraffe to breakfast!

Pop Century is a value resort, so your room will be smaller there than at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The resort, however, is a lot of fun, with giant icons from the past century to admire.  My girls could spend the whole day just wandering the resort to see everything!

Whichever you choose, I hope your vacation is magical!
