trying to decide to come to Disney(2012) first full week in April or May 20 - 26. only child ,6 year old daughter all princess.stay at contemporary ? or Polynesian ? I worry that April dates with Spring break and Easter all princess character dining gon

Both of those weeks average very high crowds. You are probably better off with the later May dates than the early April dates, as it might be a bit lighter from a crowd perspective, though not by much. I was there several years ago at that time and thought is was fine.

Of the two resorts you mention, I would prefer the Polynesian. I think it has a warmer, more child-friendly ambiance than the Contemporary. The island theming is great for both boys and girls, and I know that when my two girls stayed there they ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

As for princess character dining, I would just say you have to take your chances. Remember that if they don't get to meet them during meals, they can meet them at the meet-and-greet locations throughout the four parks. You get as much time there with the princesses as you do at a meal, and save a few bucks in the process.

    Have a magical vacation!
