Hi Michelle!
You can get the best of both worlds with the
Disney Cruise Line Land and Sea Package. You can book at Disney Cruise departing from or arriving at Port Canaveral, Floridan and experience the best of both Disney at sea and on land!
You can reserve a room at one of the many Disney Resorts and purchase Magic Your Way Tickets. You can add this option on pre or post cruise.
If you don't want to combine both, deciding between a stay at the parks or on a cruise depends upon what you would like to experience on your vacation. Both offer so many benefits to both parents and children, including unlimited entertainment, excellent dining options and fun and relaxation. The Disney Cruise Line also offers so many activities and clubs for kids that parents actually can have a bit of time alone and even have a date night during their trip.
At the parks, you can enjoy the many Disney attractions, including classics such as It's a Small World and see Cinderella Castle. Young children will also love meeting the characters (which they can also do on the cruise ship) and seeing the parades and fireworks.
Personally, I think that if you want to experience the attractions, explore the parks and enjoy the classic Disney entertainment, the parks might be more your style. If you want to have time with the family, as well as enjoy special adult time and a date night with your spouse, enjoy a wide variety of shows and entertainment then you may want to choose a cruise.
Both options will be magical and I know your family will love them!
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
