Trying to decide if I should upgrade from movies to POR. I am taking my 4 year old niece and her grandmother. It will be about a $300 increase to a royal room for the trip. Are the characters at movies more impressive than the royal room?

Hi Jacquelyn!  Wow you have a tough decision on your hands.  Disney's All Star Movies Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside are both full of so much charm and character.   But to me nothing can beat the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside.  I know your 4 year-old niece would be in awe over all the regal touches left throughout the room by Princess Tiana and all her friends.   My favorite part of the room is the illuminations on the headboards.   My children will often put the pillow on the foot of the bed and sleep so that they can few this enchanting element in the rooms.   Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside would also have a Table Service Restaurant, waterslide for your niece to enjoy, and water taxi service to Downtown Disney.  You will also find queen size beds rather than double like at Disney's  All Star Movies.  I really think the upgrade would be worth the money!   I am attaching a link to a Disney Parks video highlighting some of the regal touches inside of the Royal Guest Rooms for you to check out.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I know you are going to have a fantastic time with your family at Walt Disney World.  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions you may have.  I love helping out fellow Alabamians!

    Have a Royally Fun Day,

    ~Jen
