    We are trying to decide on two dates to go...Nov. 20-27 or the 27-Dec. 4...we have visited WDW during Thanksgiving week before, and are concerned about the weather and crowds...Also...is it warm enough for the water parks at this time of year?

    Amy,

    Great questions!

    The crowds do get pretty heavy for Thanksgiving. Seems like your second week would be the better choice. Though the crowds would be larger at the start of your vacation, they will drop off soon after, probably by around Monday. Another plus of this is that all the holiday decorations will be up in all the parks, so you will get to enjoy all that fun too!

    As for the water parks, it is a bit of a gamble. Forecasts at the National Weather Service put the December weather as follows;

    • High Temperature: 73.3 degrees
    • Low Temperature: 52.6
    • Average Temperature: 63.0

    For me, that is too chilly. But I have been there many a time where the weather far outpaced the average, so certainly take your swimsuits with you, as you will probably find a day or two where it is probably going to be warm enough to enjoy the waterparks.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
